If I am true to you, I have to admit that I love, love, love steak! I like it grilled especially and prefer it medium rare. To the American rancher that brings me beef, I love you too! This fourth of July I will wave my flag proud,  light the grill and slap on a steak. Today's steak recipe is dressed up for the holiday, enjoy!

What You'll Need:

london broil

2 lbs London broil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp minced garlic
s/p to taste
2 tbsp or more blue cheese crumbles

Putting It All Together:

preheat grill
season London broil with
salt and pepper on both
sides.
in a small sauce pan
bring balsamic vinegar,
olive oil, garlic, salt and
rosemary to a low boil, let
it roll for about 2 minutes.
lower heat and let simmer
until the liquid reduces to
half the volume.
while the reduction is cooking
down grill London broil till the
interior temp is 141 (for medium rare)
let London broil rest for 5-7 mins.
then slice thinly against the grain
in a diagonal.
