One of my all time favorite snacks during a Sunday game is little smokies. I actually found myself craving them the other day and thought, who says they're only for regular season? And really, what a great end of summer food to make. So, let's take this summer by the tail and tackle it with some lit'l smokies.

What You'll Need:

1 or 2 16oz pkgs lit'l smokies
(this all depends on how many
you are feeding or want)
1 lb bacon
1 medium onion
1 large bottle of barbecue sauce

Putting It All Together:

here's comes the fun, preheat
your oven to 425 degrees

foil wrap a cookie sheet

slice the bacon
in half and length wise
and wrap each lit'l smokies
with the bacon, secure with
a toothpick and place on cookie
sheet. cook till bacon is
crispy, turning once.

once they are done add
them to your crock pot
with the onion, chopped and
the barbecue sauce.

cook on low, stirring a couple
of times before enjoying.
(everything is cooked, you are
just marrying the flavors together)
