Remembering George Jones on the Third Anniversary of His Death [VIDEO]

Three years ago today the music world mourned the loss of a legend. George Jones passed away on this date in 2013 and will never be forgotten. We have lost a lot of legends lately, with the passing of Merle Haggard just weeks ago. I can only imagine that George was one of the first to greet Merle when he stepped through those pearly gates. Heaven has turned into quite a honkytonk.

George left us with so many great songs and memories and influenced everyone who has sung our music over the past 5 or 6 decades. Here are couple of my favorite George tunes including a wonderful tribute from George Strait and Alan Jackson. We will always remember 'The Possum'.
