Since 1976 SAVA has been in our community. They started as a rape crisis hotline. Through the support of Northern Colorado and to meet the needs of our community, SAVA now provides a complete safety net to individuals impacted by sexual violence.

According to their website SAVA provides help for individuals ages 14 and up who have experienced rape, incest, child sexual assault, ritual abuse, date and acquaintance rape, statutory rape, marital or partner rape, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, exposure, or voyeurism. Direct victim services incorporate crisis intervention, victim advocacy (e.g., legal, medical), clinical therapy, and private support groups to ensure that each victim finds the help that is right for her/him. All of SAVA’s direct services are offered free of charge or based on a sliding-scale fee for service.

Clearly these services are very vital in this community and must be funded. You can help the cause by enjoying a gourmet dinner, cocktails, a silent and LIVE auction, and a chance to win a trip to Costa Rica with all proceeds benefiting SAVA, at the SAVA Soiree on September 30th.

Todd Harding from K99 will be your host for the fifth year. Get your tickets now. Tickets for an individual are $75, $125 for a couple.

The SAVA Soiree is Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Embassy Suites Loveland, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland, CO 80538.
