A Thursday crash in Fort Collins involved a Transfort bus and a Semi-truck, caused damage to both vehicles involved and partially blocked Mulberry Street for a few hours.

The crash happened at 11:53 a.m. at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Greenfields Court. The bus was going north on Greenfields Court when it entered Mulberry Street, where it was struck on the front right side by the front of a semi-truck driven by a 49-year-old male from Fruita, who was heading west on Mulberry Street, according to the Coloradoan.

According to a preliminary Colorado State Patrol report, the 62-year-old female bus driver may have suffered from a medical condition that contributed to the crash. However, after further investigation that was ruled out.

The 62-year-old female bus driver was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital via ambulance for moderate injuries.

The investigation concluded that the semi-truck driver, a 49-year-old male, was distracted causing him to run the red light.
