Shawn’s 3 Favorite Summer 2011 Songs [VIDEOS]

Maybe it is just because I am more involved in country music than ever before, but it seems to me that the summer of 2011 has been the best summer of summer songs we have seen (or heard) in some time. Since we will be hearing songs about snow in about three months, and I will be missing the 95 degree days I figured I better get a play-list of my favorite summer tunes ready to go!

Phil does a summer song as good as anyone I can think of, and he didn't let us down with his newest! Ask me again in a week or two and this song may stat to climb my list, but it's still pretty new so it cracks the list at #3 for now.

Jake Owen
I love the video, i love the song, and i have always loved Jake Owen. All those things added up "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" makes #2 on my list. A song that allows me to close my eyes and reminisce about those summer nights that we have all experienced at some point, no matter what the temperature is outside.

Long Hot Summer
Keith Urban
Keith Urban just says summer to me for some reason. His upbeat songs about love and sunshine just put me in the swimsuit kind of mindset. Possibly his best summer song yet is #1 on my summer of 2011 list!
