SoundHound Todd’s New Favorite App

Have you ever been walking through a store or sitting in a restaurant and a song comes through the speakers and no matter how hard you try, you can't remember who sings the song? That happened to my wife and me last night.  We were having dinner at Culver's and a song came on that both of us knew, but neither of us could remember the artist. Luckily I have a new app on my iPhone that solved the problem for me.

It's called SoundHound! All you have to do is hold your phone up to the speaker and it will tell you the name of the song, who is singing it, the year it came out, the album, and even provides the real-time lyrics. Then it gives you the opportunity to download the song.  I don't know how it works. I just know it is cool as heck.  I love it. My brain doesn't have to work so hard anymore to remember stuff that used to come to me very easily.

I've been told that SoundHound is just like Shazam. I don't care. I don't need it. I have SoundHound. It works perfect for me.  You can even sing into your phone and it will do its best to decipher what you are singing.  It's amazing.
