Being someone who is new to Grand Junction, when I ask about haunted places in town I get a handful of answers from people. One that has come up a few times in conversation is the St. Regis Building over at 4th and Colorado.

The St. Regis building went up in 1892 and was remodeled in 1904 when it opened as the Grand Hotel. In 1908 it was renamed the St. Regis Hotel and by 1936 this spot became one of the first places in Grand Junction to be called a cocktail lounge.
