Northern Colorado closures and accidents

The closures started up again yesterday at I-25 and Colorado 392.  The Colorado Department of Transportation has announced a number of closures concerning the Windsor Exit for this week. According to a release from CDOT: Expect the following lane closures and detour routes this week, weather permitting:

It seems like the construction has been going on forever, but beginning today (Sunday, March 18), the Colorado Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures at the Windsor exit.  This afternoon from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., there will be lane closures on eastbound and westbound Highway 392 near the west frontage road west of I-25.

The intersection of Laporte & Whitcomb in Fort Collins will be closed for the next 3 months for bridge reconstruction.  Starting Tuesday, March 20th, all traffic will be detoured around the intersection, which will be closed until June 15th.

The wind is reeking havoc in the Colorado Mountains and all along the Front Range.  A High Wind Warning is in effect until tomorrow morning.  Highway 287 and Highway 85 were both closed last night, but have since been re-opened.  I-25 from the Wyoming border to Cheyenne is restricted for high-profile vehicles or light trailers this morning.  I-25 North of Cheyenne is closed due to winter condition
