The Colorado Department of Transportation is asking everyone to “Drink & Don’t Drive” as they embrace the Irish heritage over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Heightened DUI enforcement begins tonight at 6 pm and runs through 3 am on Tues., March 18.
The Colorado Department of Transportation has announced estimated opening dates for many highways in the state. The ultimate goal is to complete temporary or permanent repairs to restore mobility on these state highway routes by December 1, 2013.

The Town of Windsor is teaming up with the Colorado Department of Transportation to make some street improvements on Main Street starting September 24th through October 12, 2012. Improvements will be between 7th Street and Weld County Road 19, and include resurfacing, curb and gutter work.
I was driving home to Fort Collins from Greeley last night and was reminded by the flashing sign that Highway 34 would be reduced to one lane in each direction again this weekend. The sign also reminded me that I should expect delays. My advice would be avoid Highway 34 completely on Saturday and Sunday.
