Living in Colorado, we are lucky to have so much scenic wilderness around us to explore. When taking part in outdoor adventures, it's usually pretty common to come across several different species of wildlife, but nothing is quite as exciting as seeing a majestic moose, up-close in its natural habitat.

Last week on Highway 9, just north of Silverthorne, a moose was struck by a car and it was caught on video. Youtube user Kayla Whitehead captured the incident on video. Some people might find this video disturbing as it is graphic. Thankfully, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, neither the moose or the passengers of the vehicle sustained serious injuries...
