The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning through tomorrow morning. Expect significant snowfall and blowing snow for North Central Colorado today through tonight.  Expect heavy snowfall for the Front Range and parts of the eastern plains tonight.

The wind is reeking havoc in the Colorado Mountains and all along the Front Range.  A High Wind Warning is in effect until tomorrow morning.  Highway 287 and Highway 85 were both closed last night, but have since been re-opened.  I-25 from the Wyoming border to Cheyenne is restricted for high-profile vehicles or light trailers this morning.  I-25 North of Cheyenne is closed due to winter condition
High Wind Warning In Effect
The National Weather Service issued a high wind warning for the Front Range mountains and foothills yesterday and it continues today.  yesterday the strongest wind recorded in Colorado  was near Pinecliffe, which is located about 15 miles southwest of Boulder. A trained storm spotter clocked a wind gust of 98 mph. Nearby Nederland saw winds over 70 mph on Wednesday.
