While an occasional afternoon shower or thundershower is possible over the upcoming July 4th holiday weekend, the overall forecast looks pretty good for most outdoor activities.
The agency says the weather is "looking increasingly warm as the high-pressure system that has been baking the west coast slowly moves east into the Rockies.''
Happy first day of summer! Unlike last week, it actually feels more like spring as we start off Monday with temps in the 60s and 70s in the Fort Collins area. The heat will be back by Tuesday, so don't get too comfortable with the AC off just yet.
