The flood that wiped out many areas in the Big Thompson canyon back in 2013 still look the same. Nothing has been done and many are wondering what will be done.

When I came across an article about tree rings and what they sounded like on a record player, I wondered to myself, What would those big trees in Fort Collins' City Park would sound like. Or anywhere around the area, up the Poudre Canyon, along the Big Thompson and beyond.

I know as a mother of four that when they were younger some of the fun thing's that other kids were doing we couldn't, it was just too expensive. (not that they had to do what others did, but it was nice once in awhile to be able to take them to places like Elitch Gardens)

After being closed by the Galena fire on March15th, Lory State Park will reopen to the public Friday, April 19th.

I don't know about you, but I have my favorite shows and that's what I watch. I rarely watch anything else or even listen to the buzz about new shows. I am set in my ways, oh my, I sound like my grandfather-somebody stop me!
