Meghan Linsey tackled a country classic during The Voice semi-finals Monday night (May 11), performing the George Jones song "Tennessee Whiskey."

Steel Magnolia singer Meghan Linsey is a mom. A canine mom, that is. Linsey adopted a super cute puppy she's named Betty.

Steel Magnolia fans got a nice surprise if they were paying close attention to the ABC’s crowd shots during last week’s CMA Awards in Nashville. Meghan Linsey was in the crowd, seated next to her duo partner/fiance Joshua Scott Jones. Jones had previously been in rehab dealing with undisclosed addictions.

It seems every year a new country star emerges as the one to watch. A couple of years ago Josh Turner made that kind of impact, this year Chris Young is doing it.
