There are some artists that I just feel a connection with and Waylon Jennings was the first country artist that seemed like a kindred spirit to mine. Waylon had his own way of doing things. He had his own sound, his own look, his own image and did things his way.
If you know anything about me at all you know that Waylon Jennings was one of my musical heroes. I loved that outlaw sound and the renegade coolness that seeped out of him. He was just cool without even trying to be and I loved that rebel style and sound.
