Team Pablove.land and The Island Grill Present CAPPY HOUR: A Fundraiser for the Pablove Foundation

I have to admit, this is one of the best foundations that help young cancer victims that I have never heard of.  But thanks to Jodie Brungardt that has now changed and the Island Grill in Loveland is hosting "Cappy Hour" Friday, October 21st - 4pm to 7pm.

"Cappy Hour" is your chance to help this great foundation locally buy stopping by and buying your "bald cap" for just $8 in support of all the young victims of this vile disease through Be Bold, Be Bald.  Cappy Hour will be from 4-7 pm and the Island Grill will give back 10% of the tickets from the Cappy Hours customer tickets.  There will be the regular happy hour drink specials going on plus  live music after 8pm and tons of great fun plus you are helping a GREAT foundation.   Team Pablove.land is hosting this event in conjunction with Be Bold, Be Bald!

The mission of The Pablove Foundation is to fund pediatric cancer research and advances in treatment, educate and empower cancer families, and improve the quality of life for children living with cancer through hospital play, music and arts programs.

The Pablove Foundation is named after Pablo Thrailkill Castelaz, the son of Jo Ann Thrailkill and Jeff Castelaz and the little brother of Grady Gallagher. Pablo was six years old when he lost his valiant yearlong battle with bilateral Wilms Tumor, a rare form of childhood cancer. Imbued with his spirit and inspired by his strength, Pablove is dedicated to the daily, global fight against childhood cancer and the suffering that comes in its wake.

In 2010, cyclists rode over 1,400 miles from Seattle to Los Angeles and raised over $825,000 to fund Pablove’s mission. Follow Pablove Across America this October as the dedicated riders make their way from Milwaukee to New Orleans. The Pablove peloton team joins our Team Pablove runners, triathletes, mountain bikers and others committed to using healthy living and athletic activity as a means to fight childhood cancer with The Pablove Foundation.
