I have never been the most dedicated person in the world. I have a tendency to start things, get distracted and start something else, then have several unfinished projects. I am the kind of guy who gets an all day sucker and bites it after 4 minutes which is why I admire people who commit to something and stick to it to see it through to the end like a group of 7 teenage boys from California. Last weekend Denny’s at Foothill Ranch in Orange County California had an all you can eat pancakes for $5 special. They may reconsider that special after what these 7 boys did. For 24 hours these 7 dedicated munchers, sat at a table and ate and ate and ate pancakes for 24 hours. Talk about taking advantage of all you can eat. By the time they were done they had consumed 301 pancakes. That is an average of 43 each with a whopping calorie count of 14,000 per person. At one point the Denny’s even ran out of pancake batter and had to buy more. My hat is off and the top button of my jeans unfastened in honor of these fine, dedicated culinary athletes.

We once did a broadcast where a listener ate 13 portions of biscuits and gravy. What is the most food you have ever eaten in one sitting? A whole tub on Ben and Jerry’s? Come on confess here and tell us about your biggest pig out.
