The Christmas Lights Police Are Looking for You [POLL]

The debate started today here in the building about how long was too long to leave your Christmas stuff up. Like the lights on your house? When do you take them down, or do you?

There always seems to be that one person in every neighborhood who is just too lazy to take the lights down from their house. I guess I shouldn't judge, perhaps there is a reason why they leave them up.

One of the girls I work with here in Windsor, who shall remain nameless (Kelsey), thinks we should not only leave the lights on the houses, but actually turn them on, all year. She loves Christmas and still has her Christmas tree and decorations up and totally depressed about having to take them down.

How about you?  Do you have a certain time you take everything down or so you leave some of it up all year?  I have to admit that 2 years ago, we put some cool mini red lights around the kitchen at my house along the top of the cabinets that are pretty much hidden. When turned on, they add a real cool ambiance to the place so I do plug them at night once in awhile.

Don't judge me...I will admit, without the Santa stuff, some of the homes I have seen would look pretty cool lit up all year long.
