Friday (June 26) the National Basketball Association released the schedule for the Denver Nuggets 2020 season.

The Denver Nuggets will take on the Miami Heat August 1, 2020.

Friday, the NBA Players Commission and the League finalized a plan for a August 1 restart to the Nuggets 2019-20 season. The team will go through rigorous COVID-19 safety protocols and all games will be played at Walt Disney World. 88 "seeing" games were chosen from the remaining 259 and will lead to a televised 2020 playoff match up.

Earlier this week we reported Nuggets star Nikola Jokic contracted COVID-19 while spending time in Serbia. He is expected to make a full recovery and join the team in time for the 2020 season.

The seeding games will conclude on Aug. 14... The first round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs will begin on Aug. 17.

The season will have a theme of inclusiveness and bring attention to racial injustice in America. All games will be televised on the Altitude Network.
