Brian, Susan, our co-worker Jeff and I visited a dear friend and mentor yesterday. Quin Morrison is hospice care in Fort Collins. Quin is the man who built K99...literally. He built the radio station and just about every other radio station in Northern Colorado. Quin was our engineer at K99 for the first two decades of our career. He was there the day we became the Good Morning Guys 27 years ago. He has dedicated his life to radio for the past 50 years. Quin is a radio legend in Northern Colorado.

He could fix absolutely anything. Brian and I always joked that all Quinn needed was some baling wire, duct tape, and WD-40 and he could make it work. He built the studio we are currently in over a weekend. Now similar projects take six weeks. We could call him any time day or night and he would always be there. Nobody was ever more dedicated to his profession than Quin Morrison. He was also a good friend. Quin would never complain about having to get up early to help us when we had equipment failure, but you better be prepared for a good story when he got there.

There is a special place in heaven for Mr. Morrison. We just hope God has something that needs fixed. After several tough years of medical hardship, Quin's family is unable to cover all of his funeral costs. They have started a gofundme account. Any donations would be sincerely appreciated.
