According to the International Meteor Organization, the first big shower of 2020 happens tonight...so make sure you've got a good view.

Tonight around 1 a.m., you'll be able to see the awesome sight of the Quadrantid Meteor Shower, which, according to Denver Westword, will be a "short but intense show".

Perfect viewing conditions for a meteor shower are places without a lot of artificial light, so grab a blanket and get away from the bright lights of Old Town. For more on the Quadrantid shower, head here.
