Tonight's CSU Lagoon Summer Concerts features The Hollyfelds. Like they say on their website, "Holly rhymes with golly. Felds rhymes with welds." The Denver band was named after a character in the the 1980's movie "Real Genius", Lazlo Hollyfeld. The thing is, they are good...really good! The Hollyfelds are my favorite local band.

The Hollyfelds take classic country, rock, and pop and add a touch of folk and bluegrass. It's good stuff.  You can hear them tonight at 6:30 under the trees at the Lagoon on the West lawn of CSU's Lory Student Center. The concert is FREE!  I (Todd Harding) will host this week's concert!

There is a free concert every Wednesday through August 10th.

To get an idea of what you can expect tonight, here is the video for the Hollyfeld's "Ain't It Something".
