I believe most movie reviewers are pompous cinema snobs who become so jaded that they sometimes forget why people really go to the movies! A classic example is "The Lone Ranger". The critics all destroyed the movie starring Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer and a very smart and talented white horse. A few of my friends saw it and loved it, so my wife and I bought the big bucket of popcorn and took it all in.

it was everything you look for in a movie. It had great action! It was funny. It kept us on the edge of our seats. It had jaw dropping circus-like stunts on horseback and on trains! Johnny Depp gave his usual quirky, yet brilliant performance as Tonto. The horse that played Silver was perfect. Even the bad guys were brilliant. My wife and I really enjoyed "The Lone Ranger"!

It's a movie that takes a few liberties with the original story, but that's O.K. It is 2013, not the 1950s. I love the twist of movie, told from the perspective of Tonto. I will admit, it was a little long, which prompted me to give it a lavatorial rating of 4 1/2 urinals.
