There are certain artists that stand out right away. Faith Hill was one of those artists for me. It was 1993 and this young girl from Star, Mississippi released a fresh new sound on a song called ‘Wild One’. It was sassy and catchy and had a real, pure country, exciting voice behind it. It was one that stood out as something very special. That song went on to be a number one hit as did the follow up ‘Piece of My Heart’ and many many more over the next few decades.

Today Faith celebrates her 50th birthday and looks and sounds better than ever. Happy birthday Faith. Thanks for being such a class act and amazing performer. Our format is better thanks to your contributions.
