The Winner of Our #UnforgettableFirst Contest Will See The Dixie Chicks Live

A few weeks ago, we reached out to our listeners to have them share their #UnforgettableFirsts, especially with the Christmas season in full swing.  

So many people experience firsts during this season, whether it's spending Christmas in your first house, with your first spouse, or your first child.  Maybe you remembered a first from year's past and shared it with us-- such as the first time you attempted making your Grandma's famous pot roast (and either reigned victorious or failed miserably).

It was difficult to pick a winner out of all the #UnforgettableFirst submissions we got, but ultimately we ended up choosing this sweet story from Alison Wiltzius:

"This is a photo of my husband with our son on our first Christmas together. We adopted him and he was our Christmas miracle. There will never be a better gift than being his parents. During our adoption celebration I played the Dixie Chicks song Godspeed and dedicated it to him. That song will always have special meaning to me."
