This Abused Pit Bull Is Up For Adoption in Fort Collins

Jayne has a sweet smile and a loving personality. Unfortunately, she also has a grim past.

When the pittie was brought into the shelter, she had something metal embedded into her leg. The original post from All Aboard Animal Rescue is below.

The rescue organization guesses it's some kind of metal clamp from when Jayne was chained up outdoors, and based on how it was embedded into her leg, they think it's been on her leg since she was a puppy.

AAAR describes Jayne as having a "happy, loving spirit", and now that she's free of her trauma, she's ready for a new, loving home. If you're in the Fort Collins area this weekend and you want to give Jayne a second chance, you can drop by All Aboard's rescue event this Saturday at the Fort Collins Petco on College Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
