I think it's safe to say that most people go to college with the hopes that they'll be able to lock down a good job with a good paycheck, but that isn't always the case anymore. 

Thrillist shared a report by Zippia that reveals the college in each state that yields the highest-paid grads, based on the 'mean earnings of graduates a decade after they first started school.'

In Colorado, I would have guessed School of Mines... University of Denver... maybe even CU Boulder. But, maybe those are just the most expensive, because it's actually Fort Lewis College in Durango at $39,000.
