Sure, we have plenty of regular traffic issues and backups like traffic jams that feature cars but here in Colorado, we believe that variety is the spice of life...even when it comes to our traffic jams

The Eagle County Sheriff's Office along with Colorado Parks and Wildlife had a pretty fun call the other day when they received a call and had to respond to this...

So yeah...that was pretty cool but it's also a good reminder to always be on the lookout for wildlife when you're driving. In the past week, I've had two deer fly across 287 heading back from Lory State Park and I also had a fox dash in front of me on County Road 21 a couple days ago when I was on my way into work around 3am.

Colorado is wild in many different ways and whether it's a fox, deer, elk, mountain lion, bear etc...you just never know what you're going to encounter around these parts.

In 2021, collisions with wildlife increases around 5.5 percent, according to the Colorado State Patrol so this can serve as a friendly reminder to always stay alert, follow the speed limit and drive safely.
