This holiday season is about to be one of the busiest yet, but what better way to enjoy the calm before the storm than to attend one of these unique events?

This festival is going to be lit (get it?). The RainDance Festival of Lights will encompass a lighted, covered bridge, your favorite Christmas music, wagon rides, cookie decorating, Christmas caroling and free chili and hot chocolate. This will take place at 4-6 p.m. on Saturday at 2191 Covered Bridge Parkway in Windsor. Head to The Colorado Cherry Company, the hub of the activities, and show your Retro 102.5 app downloaded on your phone to receive a meal and a pint of beer for the slim price of $10.25, and of course, kiddos eat for free — the app promotion is valid until the end of the year.

While the days of strolling around different food and craft vendors outdoors is done for the season, the Winters Farmers Market is back to help you get your fix of locally-made foods and products. The Winter's Farmers Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at The Masonic Temple at 225 W. Oak Street. The market will also be hosted on a pair of December Saturdays, helping consumers purchase directly from makers.

Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, the stars of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow, are coming to Fort Collins to promote their “latest and greatest” film. You may remember them from 25 years ago in the film "Clerks". The plot includes this seemingly clueless duo travels across the country to stop a movie based on them. General admission tickets are $50, and VIP packages with a meet and greet option add-on are available at the costs of either $250 or $750. This showing will be held at both 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Lyric Theatre in Fort Collins.
