To Turn On My Sprinkler System Yet or Not, That is the Question

The spring weather is here! Flowers are blooming, leaves are sprouting off of the branches on the trees and the dandelions are popping up all over yards in Northern Colorado.

My yard is looking like it could use a good drink right about now. I am sure after the lack of snow this winter, it is pretty thirsty. I cannot remember exactly when I turned my in ground sprinkler system on last year, but it seems that it might be time to do so now.

The weather seems to keep the temps above freezing over the next few weeks, so the chance of the water lines freezing do not look like a possibility.

Here is my question to you that are veteran sprinkler system owners... Should I turn on my in ground sprinkler system now, or should I wait it out a few more weeks?
