It was a crazy crazy year and it started out very poorly. On Wednesday, January 25, Todd rolled his truck while driving to work. It was icy that morning and he really doesn't remember much from the accident. The accident ripped off his right ear, broke a bone in his neck, and gave him a severe concussion, but he is alive and doing well now.

Todd missed several weeks of work, had to wear a neck brace for several months, and friends drove him to work for a couple months, until the brace came off, the ear was sewed back on and he got a new truck.

In March we had scheduled a cruise to the Bahamas with our friends from Realities for Children . Todd was still in his neck brace, but we decided to go anyway. We had already paid for the tickets, so why not? We left from Miami and visited Coco Cay, Nassau and Key West.

In June Todd was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame along with his radio partner of 29 years, Brian Gary, and Susan Moore, who has been with them for 16 years. The ceremony was held at the Vanderbilt Marriott in Nashville. Todd's cousin, Paul, her husband, John, and our friend, Dana, all made the trip with us. It was definitely the highlight of the year and the highlight of Todd's career.

This was a very big year for Jenny. After working for Dr. Ian Orme for 23 years at CSU, he retired. That left several departments at the university fighting over Jenny's talents. She landed a job working for Professor Jean Peccoud in the Department of Chemical Biological Engineering. She is also splitting time with the Office of Sponsored Programs. The truth is they both want her to work full time.

This year Jenny and I had three young women from Italy stay with us while they worked at the CSU Vet School. Noemi, Francesca, and Beatrice became part of our family. We tried to do some fun things while they were here like trips to the Denver Zoo, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Wild Animal Sanctuary, and the Black Hills of South Dakota. We love these girls. We plan on visiting them in Italy next Summer.

We lost our kitty, Morgan, this year after 18 years. We lost her brother, Chudley, last year. Now we have Frosty and Benny. They are our first cats with tails. We always had Manx in the past, who are born without them.
