Not only has the Resurrection Christian football team not lost a game this season, but they haven't even given up a single point.

The No. 1 ranked team from Loveland has outscored their five opponents 231-0. The Cougars face Moffat County at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, in the first round of state.

A key player on both offense and defense is senior Tanner Applebee, who plays both running back and linebacker.

Applebee rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on offense and made a season-high 14 tackles on defense in Resurrection Christian's 42-0 win over Berthoud in last week's regular season finale. For his efforts, he's this week's Townsquare Media MVP.

Applebee sat down for a quick interview before the playoffs. Good luck to the Cougars and the other NoCo teams at state! Follow along live with our Free High School Scoreboard.
