Senior Trinity Corney was a force last week at the Denver Coliseum.

The 6-foot-2 senior middle blocker helped carry Fort Collins High School to an exciting Class 5A state semifinals run.

The Lambkins rolled to 3-1 with wins over Cherry Creek, Cherokee Trail and Legend on Thursday and Friday to reach the final four.

For her efforts, Corney is this week's Townsquare Media's High School MVP.

Here's a little Q&A with the star senior:

What was it like to be part of the Lambkins state run?

It was amazing being a part of the post-season and the awesome volleyball we created as a team. It was probably some of the best volleyball I have played my whole high school career, so it was a great endpoint.

What's your pregame routine?

My pregame routine would be to go get taped and ready before each game. I like to take some quiet time to think and gather my mental state before I play and then warm up and get going.

What are your post-high school plans?

After high school I plan on going to the University of Wyoming to continue my volleyball and academic career.

What's your favorite food?

Burritos or waffles.

What's your favorite TV show?

Grey's Anatomy.

What's your favorite music?

Old R&B.
