According to the Coloradoan, here is where you can experience some road closures this week that may make your commute to work or home even longer than what you usually encounter:


•College Avenue, between Myrtle and Laurel streets, lane closure until March 25 for tree trimming.

•Harmony Road, from Interstate 25 Frontage Road to County Road 5, lane closure until March 20 for repairs.

•Magnolia and Whedbee streets, full closure until April 16 for concrete repairs.

•Shields Street and Poudre Trail, full closure until June 1 for improvements.

•Taft Hill Road and U.S. Highway 287, southbound for 1.25 miles, temporary lane closures between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until mid-April or early May.


•Fish Creek Road at Whispering Pines Drive, full closure until March 26.

•Horsetooth Road, from County Road 7 to County Road 9, full closure until April 24

•Rist Canyon Road, lane closure until April 24 for water work.

•Shields Street, from Vine Drive to Willox Lane, full closure until Sept. 9.

•Poudre Trail, from Taft Hill Road to College Avenue, full closure until Sept. 4 for construction.
