Two Americans in Italy – The Canals of Venice [PICTURES]
Venice has always been called one of the most romantic cities in the World. I would agree with that, although it is a little crowded on a weekend. My wife an I had the pleasure of spending a couple days there during our vacation in Italy.
A friend of our gave us some really good advice: The best way to see Venice is to get lost there, so we did. One night we didn't even look at a map, we just started walking. We discovered so many wonderful spots in the city that is separated by dozens of canals and linked by 400 bridges. One of the highlights of our visit was the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
We got up very early the next morning so we could take some pictures without any tourists in them. Thank to my lovely wife, Jenny, for the wonderful photos.
