Two Arrests Made in the Weld County Stolen Drill Bits Case

Weld County Sheriff's office has made two arrests in the stolen drill bits case. The Weld County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team received numerous tips about this case, and after a thorough investigation, 21-year-old Miguel Moreno of LaSalle and 23-year-old  Kyle Hunt of Johnstown were arrested for felony theft.

The total amount of recovered stolen drill bits is estimated around $332,300 dollars. They were stolen from an oil and gas operation in Weld County.
