Today (October 6), Huffington Post shared the story of an Aurora family who recently visited the hotel, which we all know inspired Stephen King's The Shining -- you can decide if the story and photos are bogus, or freaky.

The Mausling family tells HuffPost that an apparition of a young girl appeared in their photos, despite there being no young girl with them on their hotel tour.

Now, I am definitely a skeptic, but Ben Hansen, host of Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (and obvious expert of doctored photos) told HuffPost, 'If it is faked, I’ve got to hand it to them for their level of detail and creativity because there’s usually enough easy signs to suggest hoaxing.'

Daily Mail also reported this story, claiming there are two young female ghosts who appear in the photo. See their explanation here.

Twins from the shining? Maybe...
