Unique Pets Around Northern Colorado You Can Adopt Right Now
We all know that 2020 has been the absolute best time to convince your SO (or yourself) that it’s time to get a pet. Besides the fact that adding an animal to your life gives you an immediate foothold on social media, we’ve seen studies discuss how we probably couldn’t make it through this pandemic without one.
But, say you’re one of those people who don’t just want a pet, no, you want a cool pet. An exciting pet. A pet like none that’s come before (or, at least not a cat or a dog). Well, then NoCo is happy to provide.
According to an article by 5280, Colorado’s shelters have found forever homes for animals ranging from Japanese quails and ball pythons to pot-bellied pigs, goats, and even dragons. (You know, the bearded dragons, the little lizards about one to two feet long?)
Sound exciting? Then without further ado, here’s some (as of Sept. 16) of the most off-the-beaten-track animals that you can find around Northern Colorado. Enjoy, and keep in mind that these animals’ availability may change on a day-to-day basis.
