The COVID-19 pandemic has taken another business, as Blakeman Vacuum & Sewing on Garfield in Downtown Loveland is closing up shop after seven years.

The Loveland Gateway Garden Center used to be located at the corner of 6th Street and Garfield for over 100 years. But Gateway closed down in late 2017; that's when Blakeman moved in.

The sewing and appliance shop announced that their closure was due to factors involving e-commerce and, of course, COVID-19.

Blakeman will be selling everything in the building, including fixtures and equipment, starting June 3 in a private sale. On June 4, the store will be open during regular business hours, with discounts of up to 50% on regular prices.

You can sign up to take part in the private sale HERE.
