Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers placed two orphaned bear cubs into a den so they can sleep the rest of the winter away Tuesday.

Wildlife officer Ian Petkash got help from officer Scott Murdoch returning two bear cubs to an artificial den made out of more than 30 bales of hay.

The cubs have been staying at the Frisco Creek Wildlife Facility since early September after they were found orphaned.
