Northern Colorado will have a pretty mild spring week, with the chance of afternoon thunderstorms, the National Weather Service forecasts.

After a cool, cloudy start to the week on Monday, Tuesday will begin with fog, burning off in the late morning for a partly sunny day with temps in the high 60s.

Wednesday and Thursday will both be in the 70s; sunny with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, though this will be more likely on Thursday.

On Friday, showers are also likely throughout the day, with a possible afternoon thunderstorm.

Remember, if you are using this time to recreate outdoors and enjoy the nice weather, masks that cover your nose and mouth are mandated in the City of Fort Collins and in Larimer County.
