What Was the Very First CD You Ever Bought? – Brian’s Blog [VIDEO]

Do you remember the first time you forked over your own hard earned money to buy a CD? When I was a child I would save all my change and head to the record store every week and spend it. I remember the very first vinyl I bought was 'The Best of Wayne Newton Live'. I must have played that thing six thousand times the first month I had it. I then continued spending all of my money on music until, well, I guess I have never stopped.

In the late 80's when I finally decided it was time to get a CD player and see what this new technology was all about. I bought my first CD player and needed something to play in it. I searched the entire record store, we had them back then and they were awesome, and found what I was looking for. I found the O'Kanes and their debut album on Columbia Records. I have always been a sucker for harmonies and I just loved these guys. You may not have heard of them but this was a great disc. The very first CD I ever bought was the debut by O'Kanes!
