The 4th of July is in the books, which means we don't have another major holiday until Labor Day. And it also means the kids will be going back to school soon!

However, if you are a parent of multiple children like myself, you tend to forget when the first day of school is officially happening.

Well we are here to officially help you out!

Take a look at the dates below so you have all the details, and you'll also know when you need to squeeze in those last minute summer vacations for the entire family.

It's also time to start planning that back to school shopping that you know you look forward to every summer. So this will give you a guideline for when you need everything put together for your child to enter the next grade!

Wednesday, August 17th: High School Transition Day (9th grade in session only)

Thursday, August 18th: First Day for 9th grade - 12th grade

Friday, August 19th: Middle School Transition Day (6th grade in session in middle school only)

Monday, August 22nd: All grades back in session

Friday, August 19th: Grades 1 - 12 back in session

Wednesday, August 24th: Kindergarten back in session

Thursday, August 18th: First Day of School

Friday, August 19th: 6th and 9th Grade Transition Day/K-5 Students Attend Full Day (Last name beginning with A-L)

Monday, August 22nd: K-5 Students Attend Full Day (Last name beginning with M-Z)/School begins for grades 6-12

Tuesday, August 23rd: School begins for grades K-5

Monday, August 22nd: 6th and 9th Grade Transition Day/New Student Orientation

Tuesday, August 23rd: First day for 6th - 12th grade

Wednesday, August 24th: First day of school for elementary school

Tuesday, August 16th: First Day of School
