Who Would Play Charley in a Movie About His Ride? [POLL]

I am thinking that they should make a movie about Charley and his 10,000 mile motorcycle ride. I think this would make an epic film about traveling the country on motorcycle and all the brutal conditions he endured. It would have to be a manly man. A few actors came to my mind immediately when I thought of this. I think Lee Marvin would have been perfect but he is dead and would have trouble pulling it off. The others that hit me were Sam Elliott, Chuck Norris or Clint Eastwood with lots of makeup to make him look much younger.

I need your help in casting the movie. If they were to make a movie on Charley and the ride, who would play Mr. Barnes? Feel free to vote for one of the suggestions I have or make up one of your own.
