If you live in Weld County, you'll be able to recycle that Christmas tree. (Unless you have a fake tree) don't recycle that...just box it up and put it back in the garage.

According to the Coloradoan, if you live in the Windsor, you'll be able to recycle your live tree at Eastman Park starting on December 26 through January 29. The trees must be completely bare, no decorations, lights, wires, plastic...nothing. This service is open to Windsor residents.

This Eastman Park drop off spot allows trees to be enjoyed one more time on Saturday February 13 at the Magical Forest community event from Noon-3 p.m. before they go in for mulching.

For Greeley and other Weld County residents, you can recycle your trees for free through January 15 at Greeley Organic Waste Recycling Center on E 8th St in Greeley.

In OUR house, we keep our Christmas tree up well after the New Year and whether you like to take it down right away or enjoy the decorations longer

We're actually contemplating keeping the tree up all year long and just decorating it accordingly to other holidays. It could our "Valentines Tree" "St Patty's Day Tree" "Easter Tree" etc...heck we could even decorate it for our birthdays too.

After everything we powered through in 2020...we're all about the fun factor in 2021.
