Detour, no more. According to the Coloradoan, Vine Drive is now open over I-25, along with the east and west frontage road, several weeks ahead of its projected completion date.

Vine Drive has been closed since May, as crews rebuilt a $4.9 million I-25 overpass bridge that is much wider and taller than the previous one; includes shoulders and sidewalks, and has a higher clearance. See the bridge demolition here.

Originally, CDOT said the project would be completed in February 2020, but on November 19, CDOT shared that the new bridge had opened to traffic on Monday, November 18. See the new bridge.

'Both frontage roads are also open after full reconstruction,' CDOT said. 'Finishing work will continue through the end of the year.'
