You Can’t Go to Space… But Your Art Can!

You've always wanted to jump on a rocket and take off into space when you were a kid... Now you're an adult and realize you can't just take off from earth. You have responsibilities, bills, and happy hour that you absolutely cannot miss.

OSIRIS-REx is heading out of this world to Bennu, an asteroid. Not just any run of the solar system asteroid either. This asteroid is carbon rich and could contain molecular keys to life on earth. OSIRIS-REx is set to leave for the mission this fall and your artwork could be on board to the asteroid!

Asteroidmisson.org has a page dedicated to the artwork that has all of the information how your work could be in for an out of this world experience. Sketches, photographs, poems, videos and more are all being accepted. You can submit your artwork through Twitter at @OSIRISREx or Instagram at @OSIRIS_REx with the hashtag #WeTheExplorers.
