I don't know about you, but let's just say I can tell that I consumed copious amounts of wine, cheese, and cookies over the holidays.

While I don't regret this, with the new year approaching, it's time for me to get back to a regular workout routine.

To gather some fitness inspiration, I've been researching the best gyms in Northern Colorado (according to Yelp, anyway).

I've compiled them here, just in case you've also eaten too much holiday cheese (please, tell me I'm not alone):

If you're looking for a non-traditional workout, this climbing gym offers rope climbing walls, bouldering, auto-belays, and yoga classes. The gym does offer free weights and some weight machines, but the primary focus is the climbing.

Individual Membership: $75 (autopay)/$90 (prepaid) a month

10. Fitness Blender - online

This "gym" is all on YouTube for free. Personal trainers Daniel and Kelly offer hundreds of workout videos, from cardio to strength training to yoga. I've been a follower of theirs for a long time — they're great for snowy days when you don't want to head to the gym.

Specific programs can be purchased for $14.99.

While there are many more gyms in the Colorado area, these are the ones that stood out to me while I was researching — I liked that they appeared to have friendly atmospheres and a variety of workout options.

So, finish your cheese, lace up those tennis shoes, and let's hit the gym, people.
