A lot of great songs came out this year! New artists, new sounds and new tunes are what a music junkie like myself look forward to when the new year rolls around. With that being said, here are the top 25 songs of the past 12 months of 2015 according to Rolling Stone.

25 - A Thousand Horses' "Smoke"

24 - Ashley Monroe's "On to Something Good"

23 - LoCash's "I Love This Life"

22 - Chris Young's "I'm Coming Over"

21 - Kacey Musgraves' "Dime Store Cowgirl"

20 - Kip Moore's "Running For You"

19 - Carrie Underwood's "Smoke Break"

18 - Sam Hunt's "Break Up in a Small Town"

17 - Maren Morris's "My Church"

16 - Alan Jackson's "Jim Jack and Hank"

15 - Eric Paslay's "She Don't Love You"

14 - Thomas Rhett's "Crash and Burn"

13 - Kelsea Ballerini's "Love Me Like You Mean It"

12 - Charles Kelley feat. Eric Paslay and Dierks Bentley's "The Driver"

11 - Brothers Osborne's "Stay a Little Longer"

And now, for the top 10 country songs from 2015

10 - Luke Bryan's "Strip It Down"

9 - Jana Kramer's "I Got the Boy"

8 - The Cadillac Three's "White Lightning"

7 - Keith Urban's "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16"

6 - Dierks Bentley's "Riser"

5 - Chris Janson's "Buy Me a Boat"

4 - Chris Stapleton's "Traveller"

3 - Jason Isbell's "24 Frames"

2 - Eric Church's "Mr. Misunderstood"

1 - Cam's "Burning House"

All of these songs are great! I can see why Cam's "Burning House" is number 1 just by the attendance of her "New From Nashville" earlier this year at The Boot Grill in Loveland. Totally one of my top 3 memorable performances here in Northern Colorado since coming to work for K99.

What do you think? Is the list accurate for a top 25 or do you think they might have missed a song or two?
